New School Vacation

First off, I wanted to thank all of you for the comments and emails you have been kicking out to the show and the new site.  FYI, New School will be on vacation this week but will return on March 10th from 1-4pm ET.  Be safe and make sure to hit us up w/your comments when we return.  Peace!!!! 

The Manager for the All-Steroid Team

Tony LaRussa has proven that he has no problem with steroid users.  He is THE ONLY person i’ve ever heard defend Mark McGwire.  His current roster includes alleged juicers Rick Ankiel, Troy Glaus and Ryan Franklin.  The club considered inviting Juan Gonzalez to spring training, Juan Gonzalez!!!  Just in case that didn’t get your attention, LaRussa announced his desire to sign Barry Bonds to add to his impressive steroid repertoire.

There are two things Tony never misses out on: sipping his beloved boxed wine and talking down to the local media.  Well it appears Tony has finally met someone who isn’t intimitaded by his grumpy demeanor - Sports Talk Host Kevin Slaten from KFNS in St. Louis.  You can hear Kevin completely shredding apart LaRussa by checking out the New School archives on shanshariff.com.  The show aired on 2/26 and the interview begins at the 21:35 mark.  Trust me, it’s can’t miss radio.
